Last year, I planted some strawberries and mint in a container. I was late in planting them, so none of the mint grew and only some of the strawberries grew.
I miraculously managed not to kill them off, and the strawberries have continued growing as if nothing happened. The leaves have gone quite large because they’ve been in quite a dark place, apparently: the bathroom windowsill. I’ve moved the container to a sunnier place outside. I’ve also given them a good watering because the soil was so dry, it was coming away from the sides.
