Blipper Widget v1.2.3: now with caching
I add caching to the Blipper Widget plugin to make its loading faster and to reduce the number of hits on the Blipfoto server to reduce the likelihood of hitting the rate limit.

You can get to the site status page from the ‘About’ section of the main menu and by using the button that lives with the search bar just below the main menu.

The status page I created allows the site owner to add a script to the bottom of the page showing an embedded status update if an incident occurs or maintenance is planned. This seemed like a nice idea, so I did it. Then I undid it.
Reason for month-long downtime
If you recall, I broke my site really badly in January, and it was down for a month till February. This is what happened.

Tail-walking at parkrun got me over the mark to finish a Strava challenge I didn’t think I’d complete.
