These cheats are specific to the Mac. They, or their equivalent, may work on Windows or other operating systems, but I can’t test those.
How to bring up the cheat console window in The Sims 4
On Mac, press control ⌃ + shift ⇧ + C to bring up the cheat console window at the top left of the screen. Click your mouse in the window to make sure the flashing cursor is in it.
Type your cheat codes and commands into it, followed by the return ↵ key.
To invoke a previously entered code or command, press the ▲ (up arrow) key (repeatedly) until you find the one you want, and press the return ↵ key. If you go past the code or command you want to repeat, press the ▼ (down arrow) key (repeatedly).
How to enable cheat mode in The Sims 4
Bring up the cheat console window and type (or copy and paste) one of the following commands into it:
testingcheats true
testingcheats t
testingcheats on
testingcheats yes
testingcheats y
Each of these will return a confirmation message if successful:
Cheats are enabled.
Now, each time you want to use a cheat code or command, bring up the cheat console window and enter it.
How to disable cheat mode in The Sims 4
To prevent cheats being entered in your game, bring up the cheat console window and type (or copy and paste) one of the following into it:
testingcheats false
testingcheats f
testingcheats off
testingcheats no
testingcheats n
Each of these will return a confirmation message if successful:
Cheats are disabled.
