I tested out my new running leggings this evening. They seemed to work. The drawstring is a useful feature to make sure the leggings don’t slide down when running.
I didn’t feel like doing 5k, so I did my up-and-down the hill run. It’s not known for being hilly round these parts, but the end of this drove goes up sharply, and is quite a shock to the system of someone who is out of the habit of running because of a pandemic. I’m sure I could’ve walked faster, but I didn’t walk, I continued to plog (a nonce portmanteau of plod and jog) up the hill, then felt relief the worst of it was over as I controlled my descent back down the hill.
I was puffed out by the time I got home, but I was glad I’d gone out.
