Summery, juicy and very moreish.
I popped in to the Ely Gin shop, with no intention of buying anything. But I was intrigued by their selection of tonic waters, plain and flavoured. At first, I wasn’t convinced that flavoured tonics would work. I thought they’d disguise the taste of the gin, but the assistant reassured me that if you pair the right flavoured tonic with the right gin, the tonic flavours enhance the gin.
I left with six bottles of tonic and a bottle of their blackberry gin.
