I went to see it with another participant of the workshop this morning. We were both very impressed by the detail in it, and we each could spend lots of time looking at it. Sadly, it lives in the Barn, high on a shelf in the room where the parish council meet. It seems a shame to hide it away in there, when it could be on show to the public in the Heritage Centre.
Littleport riots
At the creative writing workshop I went to a while ago, they told us about a model illustrating the riots. The model was apparently made by a bloke on a narrowboat for the princely cost of two bottles of gin.
