Es terrible

Thursday 11th May, 2006 ~ 11.04am BST by Pandammonium

Hace unos años, pude tomar muchos cervezas y el día siguiente, estaría un poco cansada y tenería sed. Ahora, estoy como eso después de solo unas cervezas. Creo que hago vieja.

Things actually done today

Thursday 9th March, 2006 ~ 10.21pm GMT by Pandammonium

I’ve been so tired from last night, I haven’t really done much at all. Shocking, really. I have:

  1. Limpiado el vómito del gato.
  2. Done 3/5 words and definitions for Spanish homework, but it didn’t matter in the end. I told the teacher, “podría pensar de tres no cinco,” and she said it was ok.

I’m still tired now, so I’m off to bed in a minute. C is dishing up some lambsagne and salad (good boy!) for his tea, but I’m not going to have any because I really can’t be bothered. I had some nachos and dips earlier though. Apparently, the lambsagne is nice.

C thinks it looks wrong to spell lambsagne with a ‘b’ but it looks like I’ve typoed it if I spell it as lamsagne, which is how I imagined it would be spelt before I typed it. I’ll write lamsagne from now on, I think.

Apparently, Spanish is taking over the house. C is complaining.

¡Que lástima!

Las gachas de avena

Thursday 23rd February, 2006 ~ 10.35am GMT by Pandammonium

No estoy segura de que prueban bien las gachas de avena con las fresas frescas. Sin embargo, la leche no se cuaja, así que está todo bien.

El fútbol

Wednesday 22nd February, 2006 ~ 10.01pm GMT by Pandammonium

Something’s not right…

Wednesday 11th May, 2005 ~ 8.54pm BST by Pandammonium

I have two books to read, one in English, one in Spanish. I think I understand more of the Spanish one than I do of the English one.

Tengo que leer dos libros, uno está escribiendo en español, el otro en inglés. Creo que entiendo el español más que el inglés.

Reading Spanish

Monday 9th May, 2005 ~ 11.33pm BST by Pandammonium

My head is hurting; I can read no more Spanish tonight. I don’t know what’s worse, reading Stump or reading Spanish (Gramática de la lengua española by the Real Academia Española). I suppose the Spanish will get easier with practice. But do you know, the worst thing is, the book is one of those old, musty ones, and it’s making me sneeze! At least Stump is a brand new shiny one from the CUP shop.

That is not a compliment to Stump’s work, is it? Oh, well. He should have tried harder. It is my mission to improve upon his work!

Just not tonight.
