The world that revolves around Caity Ross.

Yeah, I’ve been saying this for ages.

You just have to look at the god systems people had back in the days before people understood things that we understand now, thanks to science. For example, the Roman/Greek gods of the sun, of the moon, war etc.. Man seems to want to know about everything, to explain it all. That’s what science does, or at least tries to. Obviously, we don’t know everything yet. Some people use gods to explain the rest.

Some people use gods for comfort. People don’t want to believe that their loved ones are gone forever. Some sort of special status is put onto humans that allows us to have eternal life, once we’re dead.

That’s another thing. Why do humans give themselves such special status? Why are animals who kill humans, such as bears and tigers, killed, when all they’re doing is what comes natural to them? Saying that, in some places, if a human kills another human, then the killer human must also die. Surely the person who kills the killer should be killed? But they aren’t, because this killing was legal. We’re just another species on this big old earth, no better than any other species.
