The world that revolves around Caity Ross

Farl

Farl.

A minor farl obsession seems to have been created since FAB night. Farls were also consumed in the Old Spring, which I know I said I shouldn’t go back to for a while, but it has been a while now, I think, and it was a handy place to go to after the Hind, which accommodated us rather longer than it should have. Damned pub and its inherent produce.

Farl.

On Saturday, an attempt was made to purchase Farls in Bar Hill Tesco, but it merely had an empty shelf and a price tag, saying how much they were (didn’t notice - too deFarled). Still, what do you expect on Xmas Eve? Had to make do with nice ‘n’ cheesy flatbreads, which were ok, but weren’t Farl.

Some sort of flat Irish soda bread - see Wikipedia’s article for more.

Scrummy with bacon, egg and mushrooms in it.
