Ooh, me ‘ead!
May have been a tad pissed last night. May be a tad hungover this morning. Still, at least I don’t have to drive to Cambridge today; that is for tomorrow, when I will be going to a Par-tay in the evening. It is being plugged as the social event of the week. I will be staying in Cambridge until Thursday just so I can play the evil game of rounders with my old team, Accelrys, on Wednesday. Now, should I wear my Accelrys t-shirt? Do you know, I never wore that while I actually worked there, but now I wear it around the flat if I’m not going anywhere. The Accord for Oracle shirt is still in its packaging somewhere.
I had a really good night last night, actually. My appearance was complimented on, as I said rather drunkenly last night. I danced with G, which is always fun. I chatted to a few people I knew and chatted to a few people I didn’t know, then did my Usual after leaving Level 2, then came home. All-in-all, a fun night, but now I’m suffering.
I was supposed to meet PW for breakfast at ten o’clock this morning, but after hours of being beeped at by the alarm clock, it finally roused me properly shortly before ten, so we’re meeting this afternoon instead. That should be fun as well. I just need to make sure I get some work done in between all this fun! I said I’d email my supervisor with what I’ve done so far, which isn’t much, cos I have to rewrite it after failing to grasp the main points. And I have to (re)do the other thing as well. Just call me a crap student and have done with it!
