Took the cat for a walk last night. Had to hide behind some bushes when she used someone else’s garden as a toilet…
The “in-laws” are coming to visit tonight. We’ll be taken out for tea to a place that can’t decide if it’s a pub or restaurant, by the river.
Tomorrow night’s FAB night. French restaurant, but I’m not eating snails! There are enough of them sliming round my garden without being on my plate, too. Disgusting, slimy things. UGH!
Thursday night is rounders or the pub, depending on the weather. Considering that the centre of Cambridge is supposedly the driest place in Western Europe north of the Pyrinees, it seems to manage to rain a lot on Thursday evenings!
Saturday is a par-tay.
Sunday is Sunderland’s first game of the new season, away against Coventry. Shall be watching it in the Locomotive with t’other Mackem.
