Echo Park by Michael Connelly (possible spoiler)
This is better than his previous book, The Closers, because this is the case Bosch really cares about, but the ending is really disappointing. Bosch does something bad, and the penultimate chapter reflects on this, but in the last chapter, everyone lives happily ever after, as if nothing bad happened at all.
