Ubuntu software update #4537691437482
I have to admit, the update numbers are getting a little silly. I also have to admit that I’m a little bored of these posts, but I can’t think of a better place to log my progress, seeing as I can open my blog on any computer with a web browser and an internet connection.
So, this is my list with progress made so far:
- LaTeX: not yet; am too scared! Need to read through this article by some knowledgeable Ubuntu and LaTeX people before I do anything
- jEdit: haven’t used it much, yet, but I will. I’ve mainly used it for faffing around with the settings for sshfs
- RapidSVN: to be installed (next)
- sshfs: once Colin told me how to follow the instructions for what I wanted it to do, I discovered this was brilliant and exactly what I wanted in a replacement of my beloved WinSCP. Kudos to Derek!
- kile (new addition) – possibly
