Ooh, me ‘ead!
Last night was Ragnhild’s last night in Colchester :’( so we had a party (even though we’re not allowed to have them in the Quays *sigh*), which I’d forgotten all about, as it was organised when I was pissed last Thursday. I was supposed to cook something for it – oops! – but I was let off because I am so very busy with my dissertation, so I was allowed to organise drinks instead. Of course, Pimm’s was the obvious choice, so I bought rather too much and mixed it with all the requisite fruit (apples, oranges, lemons, cucumber (yes, it is a fruit: it’s got seeds in it)) and herb (mint) and made one bowl with lemonade and one with ginger ale. I thought it maybe tasted a bit weak, but everyone really liked it. I think I was the only person in the room who’d had it before! Flatmate-Stephen thought it was too posh for the likes of me, but you have to remember I’ve been living in Cambridge for the last three years.
Anyway, when both it and several people in attendance were drunk, off we went to Level 2, where more alcohol was consumed and dancing took place, and memories were made and lost. I spoke to Bouncer No. 2, but although I asked his name, I’ve forgotten it. Again. It might be Chris.
There was Truth or Dare played later, but despite my best efforts, the tone refused to be lowered. Then tidying up took place. I avoided it and went to bed.
