Morphology
On Monday, we had a morphology lecture. We were looking at some French. Only one or two of the ten students on the room spoke French as a second (or third) language. The lecturer asked us a question about said French, but no-one knew the answer, so we just stared stupidly at the page. He waited a while, then asked, "What do I know that you don't?"
"French?" quoth I, to giggles from the rest of the class.
The lecturer laughed too. Then I answered the question correctly (after he had given us a clue). Star pupil, or what?
